of the start of that trial, cardwell pleaded guilty. >> right. in fact, we were -- in the week we spend -- in the book we spend some time on cardwell because he's been in the game for generations, and it was one of those stunning moments when cardwell was arrested that day because he had always been perceived as being somebody who was always one step ahead of the law and, you know, he was arrested finally. so we foreshadowed what cardwell's defense was going to be, and it was a failing defense. even if solomon dweck is a bad guy, and i guess on the merits he's a bad guy. >> is solomon dweck here tonight?
