carl rogers jr. split his youth between northeast d.c.y where he grads waited from suitland high school. he was a typical teenager. he was interested in art. he would write poem and songs. he was the love of my life because he was my first grandson. and i was lost after he was imon. after high school carol told his father he wanted to start his own business. he wanted to be a barber. >> okay. barbers make good money. the two decided they would invest in a sho the family name out front. but on march 27, 1999, those dreams came to an end when carl was found shot to death inside his car at 44th and eaves place northeast. the nine year old was sitting in the driver's seat and had gunshot wounds to the head and neck. despite the fact that someone called nine # # to report the sound of gunshots his body was not discovered until after eight the next morning. i don't know whether he was alive part of that time crying for his mom, his dad, begging for his grandmom to get and come him. i think they botched that investigation from the start. they di
