carlin made reference to this in his presentation about the rim fire. the cherry lake, the lower cherry aqueduct that can take water from cherry at early intake. that system was damaged by the rim fire. we have a project going forward to repair that damage and fix some preexisting problems better to convey water from cherry into our systems. we are working now with contracting staff and environmental reviewers to see if we can put that project in place by fall. in effect, october 1st is the date i have asked people to put that project in place. even if we get a couple more storms, this asset will be necessary as guarding from a problem next year. we need to move on this. we are also breaking ground on our local water ground project this year and drainage where we pump a lot of ground water to keep basements dry and try to find ways to use that water in the system. any water we can take advantage of we are pushing for out there. last but not least we are fully supportive of constructive drought legislation. there is a house pass relative to the drought t

did and political comedy yeah he was an inspiration as were a lot of other great comics like george carlin and bruce even some people that didn't do comedy but you didn't do standup comedy but used comedy to make change like abbie hoffman so yeah bill hicks was a huge influence and seeing that someone could take these dark issues that needed to be talked about and make an audience laugh and enjoy themselves but still learn just learning that could be done was a huge inspiration i mean people need comedy people respond so much better to comedy than they were just like my newscast and that's why you're so great and what you do and why do you think more comedians are political concerns the want to completely have to. i think i think there's two reasons one is that comedians like your average american a lot of them aren't political they just don't care that they're not there they don't understand they don't care to learn about it and that kind of and then the and then there's also a lot of them that understand it's a tougher route to go i mean you're going to alienate a certain percentage of t
