butter carmelized nice and sweet. add three-quarters pound of sausage. stir that around.r. now we'll add our three and three-quarter ounces of toast ed pecans. pecans add that nutty texture, got earth theeness to it, give that fall flavor. now we're going add our 14 ounces of chicken stock. we're going to bring it to a boil, boil for about two to four minutes and then add our breading. fold the breading into the oil and mix. we added nine cups of bring to the mix, stir for about two to three minutes just until the liquid is absorbed but you can still see some of the cubes in there. take some nonstick spray, spray our loaf pan. we got the oven downstairs preheated to 350 degrees. we're going to pack this in here nice and advertisement cover it, spray the inside of the aluminum foil with nonstick spray so nothing sticks. wrap over the top of our loaf pan. 20 minutes covered. take off the cover and let it carry on for another 10. now our stuffing is ready. we're going to pull it out and let it cool. now the stuffing is done, time to enjoy. >> ♪ >>> pecan, savory sausage, swe

first of all, thank you, carmel, thank you most particularly for including a voice from the universities and colleges on this panel. while it's a thrill to be here with policy leaders, we're the ones that have to implement that policy and that sometimes comes with challenges. what's interesting about the university of south florida, as you pointed out, it is a large institution, it's a young institution. most particularly, it's a top 50 research university public or private in the united states. and i mention that because all too often it's the research universities that lose sight of the focus on serving the needs of the students and enhancing student success. over the past six years, we have seen an 8% increase or an eight point increase in our freshman retention rate, a 15% increase in our six-year freshman graduation rate, which only tells part of the story. because a large number of students entering the university of south florida come to us as transfer students as well. we have also seen an increase in graduation rates there from 60% to 68% in four years over -- in recent past. so

state has fined pg&e more than $10 million for a natural gas explosion that destroyed a cottage in carmeled safety rules. they didn't give the crews the right equipment to replace a gas line in that area. the puc says that led to an explosion of an empty cottage back in march. no one was hurt. but the impact was felt eight blocks away. >>> pg&e has been fined more than a million dollars by the state public utilities commission for exchanging inappropriate e-mails with regulators. the cpuc voted 3-1 in favor of that fine but two of the commission members did not vote because they were included in the back channel e-mails. pg&e will appeal the fine and says it's already addressing the problem. that includes firing three executives. >>> 8:06. happening today, the holiday travel season is now underway. this is video from the oakland airport. more than 46 million people are expected to hit the planes. the airports if you will this thanksgiving holiday. that's the highest number in seven years due mostly to lower gas prices. coming up at 8:30, ktvu's tara moriarty will tell us about the big deb
