carol, good morning. thank you for joining us today. >> good morning, kimberly. >> and so let's start off by talking about your recent article in the "miami herald" pointing out the number of guards and staff outnumber captives by a faction of 333 to 1. can you talk about that dichotomy and is there a plan to wind doubt the staff at the facility as the number of detainees diminishes? >> that's correct. there are 33 guards, civilians and soldiers assigned to the detainees. they haven't downsized the troop size of 2013 when they surged a bunch of troops back in there during the big hunger strike that people may recall. there is saplan. they say if they can consolidate the last 31 detainees into fewer than four or five facilities, they could perhaps reduce the number of skoeoldiers. there are 20 of the 61 who could be gone by election day. what we're talking about is a tiny prison of, say 40, 45 prisoners. and at some point, it's going to be hard for them to justify such a huge staff that we have built up ov
