my name is carol eisen. i'm the employee relations director. before you are 27 memorandum of understanding between the city and 33 labor organizations and we're here today to explain the process and the outcomes and ask that you recommend adoption to the board of supervisors. taken together, these agreements cover all city employees except for nurses, sworn members of the police and fire departments, and service critical employees of the sfmta. as you know, police and fire, m.o.u.'s have an additional two years. they're in closed contracts, and the nurses and the seiu, the team centers have reached tentative agreements. they are currently in the notice and ratification process, and those agreements will be coming before this committee at a later date. the m.t.a. service critical m.o.u.'s are all resolved. all but one either through agreement, notably the transport workers union representing the operators and other agreements at m.t.a. were reached by arbitration award. the unions have been in a ratification process, so all of this is resolved.
