for that we sends things taught meteorologist carol erickson, live for us all morning long in the mobile weather lab. good morning carol. >> if it it went groundhog day, everything should be groundhog day. still dealing with another storm, different one though and at this point in this storm, started to snow, and had transitioned over to rain temperatures are key and a lot of the temperatures are coming up above the freezing mark, lower 30's, bub not the low 30's, even in the reading area, now, in reading we've watched the temperatures go from 29 degrees about midnight to almost the freezing mark, still getting freezing rain, just about 3:00 in the morning, but now we're transitioning over to rain, fog, mist, as the temperatures through red rag coming to up about 34 degrees. we're on the schuylkill expressway. i think the biggest issue that we've found here as the temperatures are higher is the standing water you want to talk about hydroplaning, that's entirely possible to do. we're traveling about 45 miles an hour, suggested speed. we see people flying past us, like we're standing still
