carol han joins us live to explain the real race is actually for second place. orning, carol. >> reporter: good morning, tori. most polls in new hampshire don't close for a couple of more hours but in the tiny village of dix ville, where the pole poll -- where the polls are, they are in. they show mitt romney is winning. while there was not a clear winner, romney hopes that won't be the case when the rest of new hampshire weighs in. >> right now, what i'm worried about is winning in new hampshire and hopefully having a margin larger than iowa. i don't think i could handle another night like that. >> reporter: romney took the lead when another town announced their polls. ron paul had the second highest and then jon huntsman. the other candidates are eyeing south carolina where they have a better shop of winning that state's conservative base during its primary a week from saturday. most close in new hampshire close at 7:00 eastern. carol han, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> 8:15. there's word out of arizona that jon huntsman failed to qualify for the february 2th preside
