author of the war on small business, carol roth.ow do you explain the strong reaction, wall street reaction at least to jay powell's speech? >> in layman's terms the party continues. we may have half the punch bowl but the price of admission is zero dollars and we'll have buffalo wings. in market terms tapering assets doesn't mean we're stopping the purchase. it doesn't mean we're shrinking the balance sheets. it doesn't mean through those tools or other tools rates are rising. this is highly accommodative policy that will go on for a long time. even if you taper in half next year. that still like 3/4 of a trillion dollars added to the balance sheet. charles: right. >> that point you were making about the audition, obviously i think the market seems to think, oh, powell's a shoo-in. i think it is still a risk. the progressives want a progressives name in there to deal with crazy things like climate change which have nothing to do with the federal reserve and the administration tends to screw things up. we know just because we don't
