state is october 29th in talahassee. bragging rights battle with the gamecocks on november 26th. for only the second time this year...the usc men's basketball team is looking to rebound from a loss. carolina hosts mississippi state tonight at seven....the game is being televised by the sec network. the gamecocks suffered their second loss of the season saturday at tennesseee. usc 's record remains impressive at 17 and two...they're undefeated at home. still there's some nervousness in gamecock country...fans are wondering if the team is headed in the wrong direction....or if the gamecocks will make head coach frank martin says everyone needs to take a deep breath. we're not ten and seven....we're 17 and two. we've won seven of nine games away from home . we've won two conference road games. that's the most this school has won probably since the earth was invented. that's when eddie fogler coached by the way...and you can quote me on that. laughter... right now, we are waiting on benjamin to give his state of see you back here at 7 for all of your local headlines.
