caroline shively is joining us now from washington with the latest on the story, caroline there's been talks of a separate bill to support pro-life democrats. we understand that's not happening now. what have you heard. >> pelosi told fox there will be no separate bill to accommodate the pro lifers. that means they can't do a side car bill without losing the pro-life democrats and likely they don't need the pro-life democrats to get the senate bill passed. that's a huge blow to bart stupak the leader of a handful of pro lifers said unless there's a deal making more stringent rules using taxpayer money for abortion, the yes votes in november turn to nos tomorrow. stupak canceled a news conference they scheduled this morning, but his spokeswoman would want say that negotiations are continuing. now, part of the democratic leadership said that stupak has already gotten what he wants and says there's no federal funding for abortion in this bill. that's something that's very much up for debate though between the pro lifers and the folks who are pro choice up on the hill. . >> and clarificati

let's go to caroline shively now with details on that, hello, caroline. >> hello to you, brian.ling them they will get no extra vote like they've been fighting for. a huge development that could have a drastic affect on the whip count. pelosi says there are not be a separate bill or that pelosi doesn't need the votes of the pro-life democrats to get the senate health care bill passed. congressman stupak is the head of those who want the-- to gain the votes pelosi would have had to lose about 40 pro choice democrats. pro-life democrats are fighting and fighting hard though, a short time ago, the spokeswoman for stupak says that discussions are continuing. daniel la pinski is one of the members of stupak group and says they're exploring other options to get stupak language in the bill, including an executive order and says, quote, we're open to anything that will work and he says there are more than seven members in the group down from about 12 and the congressman degette says that see and more than three other pro choice women in the house aren't going to give in to stupak like t

all right, caroline, it's a complicated process, right?the republicans and democrats are going through all these amendments and deciding whether or not they're accurate. is that how it works? >> you're right. it's going to be a very long process. 20 hours total, we'll probably have about 10 more hours of senate debate on the reconciliation bill left today. it does make some substantial changes in the health care bill just signed into law including throwing out some of the sweetheart deals that senators put in there. but here's some more of what you'll find in those 150 pages. for one, it gives more medicaid money to states. it also fixes the prescription donut hole for seniors. it adds a medicare payroll tax on investment income for families making more than $250,000 a year. that's among some other taxes. it also cuts $60 billion more from medicare bringing the total cuts to half a trillion ask delays a tax on cadillac insurance plans that many unions don't like plus it pulls school loans from banks and has the government handling them. de

caroline, how do you read this? >> it essentially, google is trying to get around this idea that they have to continue censoring their site in china. they are rerouting all of their visitors in china through hong kong. some wonder whether the chinese authorities will simply block access in mainland china to google. you have to remember that google only makes 1% or 2% of its entire $24 billion of revenue from china. but the issue is that it is a huge potential market and google is having to weigh the value of keeping holding its assets and not allowing censorship and having free access to the internet with this potential money-making market. >> carolyn, i know that this is a long-running row over censorship. some suggest that the google has suffered over competition in china. >> it does have a great bit of competition from the likes of baidu, volleyball, and the number of other big names in china -- baidu, alibaba, and the number of other big names in china. but the chief legal officer has tried to paint this as unet

i'm always proud to talk to fellow citizens about my district in central pennsylvania, including caroline lisle, pennsylvania, where the united states army war college is located and certainly my home town of york where continental congress met for nine months in 1777 and where the articles of confederation were adopted. no town, however, think a mention gets quite the reaction as gettysburg. not only did gettysburg host the battle that marked the turning point of the civil war in 1863 but it's also where president lincoln gave one of the most historic addresses in our nation's history. h.r. 4395 would expand the boundaries of the national park to include the historic lincoln train station as well as a 45-acre plot of land in the -- at the southern base of big round top in order to ensure preservation of these properties for generations to come. both theses -- pieces of land are historically significant. the lincoln strain station served as a hospital during the time of the 1863 battle and was a departure point for many wounded and deceased soldiers as they were returned to their homes. t
