carolyn for americans of your getting ready ben: dave: extends through the holiday season the state department issued a warning about terrorist groups and it will remain in effect until february. robert moses joins us from kennedy airport with details. >> reporter: good morning. we want to emphasize this alert applies only to international travels though not domestic travel in the united states and it does not appear to be based on any specific threat. it reflects our reality this holiday season. as the thanksgiving get away begins terrorism is top of mind. the state department issued a worldwide travel alert warning of possible attacks carried out by isis, al qaeda, and other groups. the department says more attacks are likely as isis members continue to be radicalized in syria and iraq, the warning goes on to say there is a continuing threat from an affiliated persons planning attacks inspired by a major terrorist organizations but conducted on an individual basis. the recent attacks in paris and mali and the downing of a russian airliner in egypt for which isis claimed responsibility show that the threat is on the present. travelers we spoke to are not letting the specter of terrorism hold their plans. >> i
