in san francisco, carolyn tyler, abc 7 news. >> the family of an oakland man killed by a san franciscoolice officer near at&t park last year is suing the department. family members marched from city hall to police headquaters after filing the wrongful death lawsuit. he was shot and killed last october by officer david gough investigating a car break in after a giant's game. evans pointed a gun at the officer. >> the police officers of course are alleging he had a gun but they always tend to rationalize the killing of somebody by saying that somebody has a weapon. >> san francisco police say three different investigations on the shooting have not been completed. >> the california highway patrol is looking for a driver that shot a young boy on interstate 880 in oakland yesterday. the boy was in a car heading northbound near 7th seat when another vehicle pulled up along side and a driver fired into the car. the boy was the only one injured but not critically. he was treated at the hospital. >> we're looking for a dark color sedan that had tinted windows and no license plate. so it had a p

carolyn tyler is in the newsroom with the story. >> it was back on march 12th that the public defender's office learned of these accusations, the inmates that blew the whistle have been transferred, and the deputies who have been accused have been reassigned. up onned 7th floor san francisco's public defender says, inmates have been forced into gladiator style fights. >> i can only describe this as an outrageously sadistic scenario that sounds like it's out of the game of thrones. >> this inmate named four sheriff's deputies and said the ring leader forced him to fight twice in recent days. >> going to beat me up cut me deputies were gambling. the other inmate named stanley harris tells of the deputies egging him on. >> get him, get him, get him. >> harris also told attorneys he was forced to do push-ups to train for the fight. it's not clear how long this activity has been going on. but multiple investigations are getting underway. >> it is impossible for just two or three or even four deputies to commandeer the jail in stage fights without other deputies being aware of it.
