up 80, first of all 24 there's a little rain there and just a moderate rain before you get to the carquineze towards san francisco. but this yellow indicates we're seeing -- not in the lighter areas just a trace of rain but up to a quarter inch an hour. so the rain will continue and at much higher elevations. so we have chain controls this morning on interstate 80 and u.s. 50 and we've seen about a half foot accumulation so far. a much higher snow level above 6500 feet but seeing chains down to sysco. here's the story. a couple weeks ago when we did have the cold storm, we saw readings in the 30s. this morning widespread mid-50s. this will change as the next storm system moves in our direction. we'll get pretty steady, good downpours throughout the evening hours, at least late afternoon hour and it will turn colder as the next system comes in and breezy for monday. close call late monday night for the north bay and then again on thursday as another storm system moves in our direction. the storm we talked about, moist air all the way back to the hawaiian islands. that's continuing from the w
