hour by hour from 8:00 to midnight, pushing in through the carquinez strait over the dublin grate into tri-valley and santa clara valley tomorrow morning. you have low clouds to contend with and slight chance of hill top showers tomorrow. we're seeing clouds over the higher hills but the north bay tomorrow stay tuned for areas north i think up toward sonoma county. you could see a few stray showers during the day. you can see it toward lake county. meept, our temperatures starting off in the 50s, by lunchtime into the 60s and daytime highs 60s and 70s. very similar to what we had today, lots of low clouds to start, partly cloudy, hazy clouds to finish, 70s around san jose, north bay temperatures in the 70s and mid-70s around the tri-valley tomorrow. seven-day forecast shows the effects of this ridge of high pressure, warmest days of the week coming up for wednesday and thursday. so there you go, san jose seeing temperatures climb close to 80 degrees on wednesday, thursday still pretty warm, but notice the temperatures dropping off as we head towards friday. san francisco, same trend. n

and your westbound ride is coming in at just 18 minutes from the carquinez bridge to the maze here on 92 and the san mateo bridge this is an easy ride just 13 minutes now across the span. we are not tracking any problems coming over from the toll plaza. and here at the golden gate bridge, it's an easy ride coming down from marin county. the drive time this morning coming in at about, oh, 21 minutes out of novato and less than that coming out of downtown. and a look as we mentioned at traffic this evening in the south bay. the st. louis blues tied up now and they are going to play the sharks tonight so there will be extra heavy traffic around the shark tank. >>> in southern california, a young bear was feeling restless so it walked know a quiet neighborhood and climbed a tree. but the town of rancho cucamonga wasn't so thrilled about the bear. they spotted him at 6:30 yesterday morning. a couple of schools were locked down. when the bear left, game wardens shot him with a tranquilizer and took him back to the foothills. >>> and it's hard to put into words just how cute we find this bab

a 40-minute drive as you make it out to the carquinez bridge and past that to the macarthur maze.taking the better part of an hour to do that and the bay bridge. so when you get to the bay bridge, you add another 20 that or so, and the trip from the crockett and vallejo area area into san francisco is taking an hour plus. the door pool lanes are the best lanes, of course. looking at the rest of the east bay, highway 4 is slow through pittsburg and 680 slow walnut creek and down into alamo. marin county southbound 101 slows from roland to central san rafael. getting into marin from the east bay is one of the busiest commutes around the entire region approaching the rich manned san rafael bridge. and then the east bay commute on the sunol grade is still slow. also slow on the nimitz freeway from san leandro to free month. most of that traffic is below the speed limit. >>> busy san francisco street is shut down this morning and it may be shut down for a while. >> crews are repairing a sinkhole that opened up last night. ktvu fox 2's alex savidge is there with why the road collapsed i
