we're looking at eastbound 80, your east shore freeway going up toward the carquinez bridge. it's now slowing coming through richmond, and san pablo approaching el portal. westbound your commute direction starting to slow. pick up the volume and you see the flares on the opposite side of the freeway. only one eastbound lane is open. all westbound lanes are open at el portal, but it may slow as the sun comes up and you see that burnt out shell of a big rig. that's what the earlier fire was. over here i've circled the second alert here, southbound 101. folks are stopped up coming down through sausalito, a pedestrian was hit and killed on highway 101, only your slow lane of southbound 101 is open past spencer, so that will restrict folks from getting to the golden gate bridge right now, but you can still slowly carefully get through the area. north 101, there is some debris in the area as well, so watch for that just north of 580, and a look ahead toward the giants game tonight, remember, that is your predictive traffic because surface streets will get crowded before the game. b
