and tomorrow, something to watch out for some fog that likely form the central valley and the carquinez strait overnight tonight. otherwise tomorrow you're talking temperatures in the upper 40's in south lake tahoe. 47 degrees in trucking about 51 degrees in read a lot of sunshine up. their plan on sticking around over the next few days, saturday and sunday. look great right through the christmas holiday. a monday specially by monday evening things start to get a little iffy and that's when another storm comes into. this one could be a big one. if you're sticking around in the high country, you see right here on the models through christmas day, the keeping those skies nice and clear again, they'll be some fog in the central valley, but up in the high country looking great. and then here comes that storm system rolling on. in fact, that is going to punch much of california with some heavier amounts of rain, maybe one to 3 inches here, maybe several feet of snow in the sierra nevada. so if you're planning on sticking monday into be aware there's a major storm headed toward the sierra nevada and

especially for the delta where you have a lot more of that fog rolling through the carquinez strait andorth bay as well. so in martinez, just like yesterday, those temperatures really won't warm up much. 40 degrees. it's going to take a while for us to dig out of the upper 30s throughout the morning and the fog will linger. we'll have a cold day but speaking of cold, the sierra snowpack is still doing great. if you're going there for the christmas holiday or into the new year, right now we're seeing the central sierra at 182% of its normal amount of snow. but, unfortunately, there's not a lot of snow this week. maybe 1 to 3 inches by the end of the week but much more coming by next week with the possibility of up to 15 inches. that's as we start to see a lot more storms coming into the bay area starting on thursday into friday and then it does stay to the north of us going into early next week, but we may see a couple more rounds of bay area rain and sierra snow, and the rain this week is going to be very light on thursday and friday, maybe a tenth to a quarter inch of rain and we shoul
