stephen carroll, thank you. this december marks 20 years since the dayton accords brought an end to the balkan war. the country is still struggling, and one small village in bosnia 20 years ago did relist -- did resist the ethnic war. their example stands out as a tragic example. liz brown has more. not look like may much, but in bosnia's recent history, it is unique. difficult -- the region's different ethnic groups turn on each other in the 1990's, but the village here refused to cede to the violence and supported each other. you remember the hardship of the company in many ways. he is reminded of it today. >> here in bosnia we feel empathy from people from syria in the middle east. we know what it is to be a refugee. we know what it is like. we know about terror. w camey on in the war, on in the war with serbian forces. the village's muslim population feared the worst, but the orthodox residents stood up for their orthodox neighbors to the surprise of the bosnian commander. he is now accused of war crimes. >>
