anchor casey pratt has been following this saga for over a decade. it's like it never ends. a lot of moving parts. tell us what is happening today. reporter: what is on the table right now is the city council is meeting. they will vote to possibly certify the environmental impact report for the oakland power terminal waterfront all part project. -- ballpark project. they are the environmental impact experts. they unanimously recommended this item for certification from city council. what it boils down to is they have to look over everything and choose to certify. if they do, it would be a huge step forward for the ballpark project. ama: there's a possibility though that they don't take a vote tonight. what would that mean? reporter: we talk about possible action a lot in this scenario. what could happen is they could listen to public comment, which will be lengthy, it is still going on right now. the meeting started at 3:30. they could then go over all the presentations, thousands of pages of information, and say we are out of time. if they do, that means it would be pushed
