let's begin with casey wian in los angeles. what is the latest on this investigation? >> well, fredricka, as you can imagine beverly hills police are being careful about what they say less than 24 hours after the death of singer whitney houston. what we do know is beverly hills police department received a 911 call yesterday afternoon, 3:55 p.m., responded to the beverly hilton hotel, excuse me, 3:43 p.m. the call came in. responded to the beverly hilton hotel. already on the scene were the fire department and hotel security. they found whitney houston there unresponsive. now cpr was attempted and, of course, it failed. police are conducting their investigation and they tell me that all of the beverly hills police department investigators were off site from the hotel as of early this morning. what they will not say is if that means that their physical investigation at the hotel has been completed. as you mentioned whitney houston's body was moved after midnight last night to the los angeles county morgue. a coroner's autopsy is pending. the coroner's office tells us th

casey wian is in los angeles.we know about the investigation and then what more are we learning about houston's 19-year-old or 18-year-old daughter bobbi kristina, being rushed to a hospital? >> well, that's right, fredricka. disturbing news, beverly hills police department's watch commander confirnls firms to me that, in fact, bobbi kristina brown, the 18-year-old daughter of whitney houston and singer bobby brown, was actually rushed to the hospital in the last hour and a half to cedars-sinai hospital here in los angeles. now the hospital will neither confirm nor deny that has happened and will not give us any information about bobbi kristina brown's condition. what the police department did tell me, though, is that this was a medical transport issue. they would not say where she was transported from, whether it was from the beverly hilton hotel, where whitney houston died yesterday or from some other location. i asked if the fact he was stressing this was a medical transport meant this was not a life-threatenin

but first, to the investigation, cnn's casey wians is following all the developments, joining us now live from los angeles. what can you tell us? >> it looks like it may be quite a while before we actually get any results as to what actually killed whitney houston. according to producer stan wilson, he spoke with the los angeles coroner's office and they say the beverly hills police department has asked that a security hold be put on the autopsy results of whitney houston. that autopsy is expected to take place either this afternoon or tomorrow and there was some initial thought there could be some preliminary results released right after it happened. apparently that is not the case. the beverly hills police department again asking for a security hold on those autopsy results, which means that we might not get any results for about eight weeks. fredricka? >> well, that's a pretty significant amount of time. meantime, can you tell us more about whitney houston's daughter, bobbi kristina, being rushed to a hospital just a couple of hours ago. what more do we know about her? >> well, wh

casey wian, he's outside the courthouse. casey, what is going to happen today?er: well, we're expecting former miramonte elementary schoolteacher mark berndt to enter a plea on 23 counts of alleged lewd contact against children at miramonte elementary. we're expecting the proceedings to begin about a half hour ago. the judge has just recently entered the courtroom within the last few minutes. my colleague, alan duke is inside the courtroom. sends us word that the judge is now handling other cases. so we are waiting for the actual plea. now, to just sort of recap what he is being charged with, suzanne, we mentioned 23 counts. he is being held in lieu of $1 million on each one of those counts, so $23 million total bail. he was -- the investigation into this case originally started over a year ago and that's when mark berndt lost his job, was put on suspension while this investigation continued for about a year. the charges were -- he was arrested, i should say, just in january of this year. police have found, so far, over -- about 400 photographs of him with young
