ktvu's sal castaneda talks about how the deaths stayed off police radar until recently. >> reporter: good afternoon. according to the san jose mercury news a man who was killed when confronting police last month is suspected of playing a role in the deaths of the four women he befriended before they died or disappeared. >> reporter: police say 53-year-old glen gregg seen here was shot and killed when brandishing a bb gun at officers who had come to speak to him about the suspicious deaths of several women he knew. armed with warrants they tried to confront him on the morning of june 5th when they say he pulled the weapon. police shot him, he died at the hospital. molly frankenmount who greggs called his girlfriend has been missing since last year and given three other women died after being involved with him investigators suspect he was responsible. one of the women who died suspiciously after involvement with him was a 50-year-old homeless woman who like frankenmount had been living with griggs when she disappeared and her body found in a recycling center shortly after he reported h
