. >> praktor & gamble caterpillar, american express all down by 9% to 14%.y're the ones that are the biggest weights right now, sarah, on the dow. back to you. >> thanks very much. the dow and s&p 500 rising third straight session. by the way that's something we haven't seen since back in february. february 17th. joining us now to discuss gina martin-adams, from wells fargo securities, and chief global strategist at nicco asset management. it does feel resilient given that we are on the brink of what is predicted to be the most challenging earnings season since the great recession. is it already priced in? >> you know i think that we went a long way to pricing in earnings weakness in the second half. to be fair we're also expecting a pretty -- first half i'm sorry, but we're also expecting a bounceback in the second half. i think it's really a mixed view out there consistent with a consolidating market. we've churned in this sort of sideways pattern for most of this year. you know stocks are barely up so far this year and that's consistent with where we are.
