good evening i'm catherine heenan we first brought you this story on kron-4 news at 5. kron-4's charles clifford joins us live now from hayward. chuck what do we know about the failed test? >> reporter:just before 2pm friday, one of bart's brand new train cars overshot the end of a section of test track in hayward by several feet and crashed into a dirt pile. this is video of the accident from our helicopter partnership with abc 7. the accident apparently occurred while bart train operators were being familiarized with the new train system and the new train cars. it's unknown if the accident was the result of human error or some type of mechinal problem. bart says that at the time of the accident the train was only travelling between 5 and 10 miles per hour and that no one was injured. it's unclear exactly how many people were on board at the time or if the train suffered any damage. after the accident the car was still partially on the tracks and maintenance crews were able to pull it off the dirt pile. each of bart's new train cars costs about 2 million dollars. the f

[applause]. >> hello everyone. thank you for coming. i am so happy to be here to talk about this book. also happy to be part of this book for louisa. if you like many other louisa's may have been chosen but i'm flattered to be the one. this book also is one of my favorite books that i have read this year. i'd love it very deeply. not just because of the pleasures of reading about someone with my own name, but also because i just found that as a biography it was more deeply invested in understanding the main character than any other biography i have read. i feel feel like this character louisa adams came alive for me and remains with me more than any other character in any book that i've read this year. i think luis it made so many fascinating decisions in this book, for me, the most interesting was the decision to explore the shifting of this character's mind, as much as she was exploring that fascinatin
