( grant ) you really get an idea of the snap decisions police officers have to make in the field... everything happened in a matter of seconds. we start with some of the surveillance video from the subway store. you see a man walk up... and start talking with one of the employees. we now know according to investigators this turned into an argument and he goes behind the counter and starts stabbing one of the subway employees. a woman appears to use a baking sheet to try to stop the attack... but clearly that wasn't enough and other bystanders tried help out. police were closeby and saw what was going on and were there within a matter of minutes. officers rushed in and they say when the suspect came at them with a knife... they opened fire. this body camera footage is from just seconds after the shooting.
