let's go to catherine herridge who has the latest. hi, catherine. >> two new attacks in europe today involving vehicles as weapons. the most recent attack happens hours ago in paris. investigators say a driver rammed into a police van. video shows thick yellow smoke coming from the suspect's vehicle. fox news has reported that the man had an ak-47. the suspect was known to french intelligence services and under surveillance. this is a special security category that only applies to individuals that are considered a serious threat to national security and is considered the highest level of warning. this attack happened just hours after police in london say a driver in a van plowed into muslims outside a mosque in north london injuring nine people. investigators say one man died at the scene. somebody was giving him first aid before the attack and is unclear exactly what killed him. video shows the man being kicked on the ground. an iman at the mosque protected the suspect. the police commissioner said that this is an act of terrorism. >>

digest, so joining us with more from washington is fox news chief intelligence correspondent catherine herridge. >> this is an amazing seven pages of prepared testimony from the fired fbi director james comey. when you read it, it's one revelation after another, debunking a lot of the media reporting that alleged president trump had tried to spike the russia probe. the first meeting that's documented in the testimony is in early january and it was a briefing at trump tower between mr. trump and fbi director comey. comey was there to discuss the so-called anti-trump dossier, the anti-trump intelligence folder that made salacious allegations against the incoming president. at that time, james comey already discussed with senior fbi leadership whether he should be prepared to tell mr. trump that he was not under federal investigation. it was at that meeting that mr. comey volunteered to the incoming president that he was not under federal investigation at that time over russia's connections and meddling in the u.s. election. at a dinner later that month, with the fbi director and now president tru
