as the investigation continues, police chief cathy lanier says what happened to the victim in this case was a savage beating. here's what investigators tell us about what happened that night. they say the victim, 27-year- old, ali mohammed came to the club. he was denied entry. at one point he threw something through the window breaking the glass. at that point five people came out of the club including one of the club owners, chased him down the block. they kicked him. they punched him. they beat him. he eventually died after he was taken to the hospital. the five men involved were arrested. >> i was driving to work to drove my wife, but unfortunately we got a bad call. when i come home just i heard that ali was killed on u street. >> ali was very nice. he was a humble person and loving family person. he doesn't deserve to die. he's only 27 years old. >> reporter: police say the five men arrested in this attack did not appear to know the victim. they are scheduled to be arraigned saturday morning. wisdom martin, fox 5 news. >>> a local marine found guilty today of robbing, kidnapping a
