chris cato is live from that hospital. several schools in the dallas area were closed today as a precaution? >> yeah. this is probably never a way the students expected to get a day off of school, but that's the case. several schools were disinfected today before students and staff arrived because some students and staff members were on one of those flights with ebola patient amber vincent to cleveland and from cleveland back to dallas. 40 miles east of here, a couple of schools were closed today because of another connection to the ebola outbreak. last night our christine maddela sat down with the superintendent of roy city schools who says that a nurse who treated ebola patient nina pham has two children in his school district who attend two different schools. he says those children are showing no symptoms of the illness. but as a precaution, those schools are closed today for what he calls an intense cleaning. >> we understand that there's not a living disease in our school. we understand that. but we're going to use ou

we begin with chris cato in dallas. a new report out this morning that amber vinson may have been sick earlier than first thought. tell us about that. >> we are trying to track down the passengers onboard the flight she was on from dallas to cleveland one week ago because they're saying now she may have been having symptoms earlier than they previously thought. its investigators did with people close to vinson who said she wasn't feeling well just before her flight out of dallas. this doesn't mean that she was trying to hide anything, but her case, now, remember, up until now the cdc was only concerned with the passengers who were on the return flight from cleveland to dallas because that's when she reported the low-grade fever when she was still in ohio. nbc news spoke last night with one of those passengers who is now under self-quarantine at home. >> told me to take my temperature twice a day and monitor it at least six hours apart and i would have never risked my life. if i knew she was in contact with patient zero,

i'm chris cato. >> i'm tracy davidson. let's find out about the weather for today with meteorologist bill henley. >> good morning, tracy. we see fog thicken up in just the last few minutes. coatesville back down to zero visibility. meantime in center city, no fog at all. it's coatesville, mt. pocono, lancaster seeing fog right now. mt. pocono down to a quarter mile. it improved there. there are some areas of thick fog and some light fog in new jersey. wrightstown has 2.5 mile visibility. temperatures for most of the area in the 50s. pottstown, northeast philadelphia, trenton at 57 degrees. 56 in wilmington. we'll see fog to start with in some areas. not everybody will get it. the fog clears and the clouds will break for enough sunshine to warm us into the upper 70s by lunchtime. we'll go through it neighborhood by neighborhood when i come back to show you which areas will get more sun than others. first, jillian has traffic. >> good morning. still no accidents. i'm following some of that overnight construction including a

. >> and i'm chris cato. we're hoping the clouds move so we can get a look at that total lunar eclipse. let's get a look now at meteorologist bill henley, see what he has more the morning. >> we're getting nice shots of the moon this morning. the eclipse has begun. it is less than an hour away from being a total lunar eclipse, but there's already a pretty good chunk. can't see it in this view. there's already a pretty good chunk missing from the moon, the shadow, the earth's shadow on it, and that will be fairly visible as the morning goes on. there, i pulled it up on the computer, the weather computer, so you can see it. the darkening northwest or the upper left corner of the moon is going to be extending across the entire move, so it will turn orangey, reddish-orangey this morning. this morning, what we are seeing are temperatures that are falling. currently we are in the 60s. the wind is picking up. the storms, they have already moved out of here. and right now, the winds are gusting at more than 20 miles
