fall color on the east side on the campus of ccbc. some reds, yellows, orange hues, fall foilage beginning to peefnlgt as we look at havre de grace, fall foilage on the other side of the susquehanna, a couple of changing trees along the banks of the susquehanna river. mid-60s now, low 60s toward the bee. comfortable, seasonable weather. mid to upper 60s, just about where we should be. the wind direction has been turning south. last night spots falling into the upper 30s. tonight we're in the upper 40s. not as chilly overnight. to the north and west, a few showers as close as ohio. the main weather maker continues to be out to the west. we'll give upan early preview of the timing. looks like scattered showers become a possibility after the morning or after the evening and after the morning commute. as we go past 6:00, 7:00, showers and a couple of isolated embed thunderstorms. right now the weekend looks cooler. there's that next weather maker. you see the rain coming down here north and west of us. big time showers west of chicagoland

show you downpours, tough to see the key bridge high atop ccbc on the east side of baltimore, havre de grace. plenty of rain on the susquehanna river. in downtown bel air, always a spot that can have some pretty dense traffic while the rain is always never a help. temperatures now warming up just a little bit after a lot of rain cooling earlier today that allowed us to stay in the low to mid-60s. as we look across the region, you can see a mix of hit and mix showers over the eastern part of the state into the northern part of delaware. to the west there is still more weather to contend with. the storm system itself, a slow mover with a reach all the way west into southern illinois. a couple of frontal boundaries wrapping around that area of low pressure. as we go forward this is a slow weather pattern that will keep the risk for showers. we're not warm sector side. temperatures will rise tomorrow, still cloudy, still chance for showers. drier air as we get into late thursday but in the meantime there will be a hit or miss showers even through early thursday. then another front marching

ccbc. you see that change in the weather. havre de grace. one of the newest cameras on our weather bug. it's looking toward cecil county across maryland's most mightiest river. upper 60s in baltimore and easton and most spots have dipped below the 70-degree mark. winds are a little breezy out of the south. the area of low pressure begins to move in. right now the most significant rain in southern west virginia. the future trend model does not pick up on a heavy steady rain. there could be thunders late in the day. again, hit and miss showers. through wednesday, early. we think dry air will settle. no drastic temperature changes. our satellite radar showing the area of low pressure, not a powerful system, not a severe weather system. it's a large one and rain that's all the way into the upper midwest. this area is a slow mover, pushing some warm air ahead of it. we'll be briefly warmer and slightly moderate air for wednesday before another cold front mushes -- pushes in for the weekend. north and east of south america, north of brazil. 58 ton

what a fantastic finish on the eastside as we look from ccbc. the tidewater marina, clear finish to the day. looking into cecil from hartford and kent island. always love to look at chesapeake bay. just a fantastic view here from hemingway. temperatures in the mid40s now, again falling another five to ten degrees tonight but all the state should stay above the freezing with the exception of the very high terrain toward garret. cool flow though across the north and east. this is going to be reinforced. reinforcing shot up in the canada, southern part of canada. that air will make a move south. it's really going to freeze up areas up in the great lakes in terms of a thick frost. we will catch the edge and get some of that here across central maryland. here is the trend. cool front on the marte. that boundary will sink southward, lasting in to the big run day on saturday. again a chilly run. not a -- not exactly the day we would always expect in this part of early october. in any case you can see the effects of that cold air in can canada. the trop
