the room, hud is making moves address the veteran benefits issue, to consider flexibilities around cdbg and housing voucher program. you already have the commitment of this administration on increasing vouchers and i think you've seen that with the budgets over the last few years. we are not just saying we are here to support you, we are putting it into the budget and you can see that in the president's budget, proposal for fy25, guarantied vouchers for every extremely low-income veteran and guarantied voucher for every person aging out of foster care because we know these are two critical groups. it would essentially finish the work of ending veteran homeless and and prevent any young person from aging out of foster care onto the streets into shelters, into motels and sexual exploitation, it would be profound. we are tryingg to put our money where our mouth is in all of the fronts. i know there's tough days ahead around homelessness. the crisis is epidemic proportions in a lot of ways it was before the pandemic and we were able to save it off with the american rescue plan and resources
