i'm joined now by cecilia wong, deputy legal director confident aclu which brought this case to courtu for joining us. what is the most important part of the work that remains? >> well, ari, thank you for having me on. the important thing that remains in the case which is caused ms "l is there are many hundreds of parents who still have had their kids ripped away from them and not yet returned by the u.s. government. the government walked into court today and claimed that it's been working as hard as it can to reunite these families but the truth is, that there are two major groups of parents we're very concerned can about. the first as you mentioned is that there are about as far as we know, 400 parents who have been deported from the united states without a chance to reunite with their kids. and those parents we need to know and get in touch with them and have them identified by the government so that we can find out did they make a knowing waiver of their right to be reunited with their kids bfd they were sent back to their hope countries possibly back into harp's way. the second g
