health reporter ali gorman is live with more on the risk of frostbite but lets begin with cecily tynan with the latest from accuweather. >> hi rick and monica it doesn't feel that bad out here now compared to this morning. temperatures nose dived to this morning the coldest of the season. 10 degrees below zero and wilmington and philadelphia down to 9 degrees, then factor in the blustery winds and windchill got your attention the windchill in the poconos 25 degrees below 0, not a good morning to be skiing and allentown 9 below and atlantic city 11 below and philadelphia the morning windchill 6 degrees below 0. despite a good amount of sunshine, temperatures have not recovered much, generally in the teens, philadelphia 17 and allentown and trenton 16 and reading 14 and the winds have diminished so miles per hours from the west. when you have temperatures in the teens a little bit of wind creates a windchill. 2 in reading and trenton and lancaster and 7 in millville. temperatures will be steady and they begin to rise overnight, 7:00 through 9:00 we'll be stuck at 17 degrees, by 10:00 18

meteorologist cecily tynan this is the hart of the winter. this should be a snowstorm. the setup is not right this go around. >> exactly, adam. we've been talking all week how the ocean influence will get involved. and you can see the streamline off the ocean, as that low pressure intensifies and moves in we have more of that air off the ocean. it makes sense when you think about tractor-trailer area seeing the most snow are the areas further away from the coast. these are the far north and west suburbs. overnight tonight, east of allentown, quakertown, pottstown, downingtown to reading we're looking at moderate overnight snow. then we get into extended period of mixed precipitation early tomorrow morning with potential for icing. here, minimal rain. this is mainly a frozen precipitation event. however the i-95 corridor resisting snow right now. it will continue until about 2:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the morning and that is when we get a quick changeover to rain. that will cause a slushy mess. and even melt some of the snow overnight. because we're looking at about
