of my family members and those that i've lost that i must thank today this includes my late wife cecily who i met in law school and is the mother of my children. i think she would be extremely proud of the accomplishments of her family and how her children are growing up to be fine and wonderful people. this also includes my brother lee who passed away tragically at age 33 during the early days of his blossoming legal career but most especially my father robert huffaker who senator shelby mansion was inducted into the alabama lawyers hall of fame. during the course of my life my father was not only my father but mentored me in every way from his devotion to the practice of law and our family. lead with his integrity the devotion to the practice of law and his longtime service to the legal profession as a whole. my dad loved lawyers and his best friends were children -- his best friends were lawyers and his children were lawyers. he would be so proud of this opportunity today. thank you again for your consideration of my nomination and considering it and i'm happy to answer any questions
