meteorologist cecily tynan and accuweather have the answer. hi, cecily. >> hi, monica. well, summer vacation season may be over but the summer heat and humidity is making a comeback. this weekend, though, it was gorgeous. great weekend for outdoor activities by the beaches or by the pool. certainly a warm weekend saturday and sunday 88 degrees, today we bumped up to 90 degrees, that's 9 degrees above normal and temperatures will really be heating up tomorrow. allentown, tying a record high of 91 degrees. mount pocono also tying the record high of 85. reading hit 91. trenton hit 90. wilmington 91. millville 88. sea isle city with that sea breeze quite a bit more comfortable 84 degrees. and dewpoints slow you that it's just slightly humid in a few areas with dewpoints in the low 60's. 57 degrees in philadelphia the dewpoint, that's pretty dry air mass. of course the dewpoints are higher down the shore with that sea breeze with that ocean influence but the dewpoints will be increasing as we head through the overnight hours. humidity levels increasing. and satellite6 along

muchanic is live at the shore in ship bottom with how folks are preparing, but lets begin with cecily tynan with details on joaquin's path tonight. >> reporter: hi rick and monica, we have the latest on joaquin, if you look at this, this storm has intensified dramatically over the past 24 hours and there is an eye wall trying to form and maximum sustained winds at 85 miles per hour, the pressure has dropped since 2:00, that is another sign that it is strengthening and not heading towards florida, it's drifting towards the bahamas right now, however all the computer models show it making a sharp right turn over the weekend and if you look at these spaghetti plots there is not a consensus, the euro that nailed sandy still shows it heading out to sea, but there is a pretty good consensus that steers the storm system toward the mid-atlantic and toward north carolina but anywhere from the carolinas up through long island have to watch the storm system, a widespread 650 miles, if you look there is a good chance that this storm system will make landfall late over the weekend or early next week, in

[inaudible] will be changing. temperatures show that it's a warm monday, 81 degrees currently after a dry and comfortably cool papal weekend and it's also on the muggy side. dewpoints showing that we've got a dewpoint of 64 degrees, so slightly humid. so it really feels like summer today and i'm tracking two opportunities for a soaking rain. water vapor imagery showing we've got two tropical systems, one right now that's in the gulf of mexico. that's kind of a hybrid system and this is bring something flooding rains to florida. there's another one, this is tropical depression number 11 and if it becomes a tropical storm, it will be tropical storm joaquin and those two systems will be moving in towards a cold front that will be moving in from the west. so this means that tuesday night into wednesday morning we're going to get a soaking rain. it looks like the heaviest rain through the overone. when you get that trop mois
