cecily tynan. >> jim, it's a warm weekend but it's going to be a wet weekend as well.k up searching for sunshine and we had some dim sun kind of trying to filter through the clouds. but clouds generally ruled the day. and we're live on sky6 taking a look at the center city skyline. you probably won't be able to see the tops of the buildings tomorrow night into sunday morning because we have a really good setup for some dense fog. what's going on as we head into the weekend, we get a flow out of the southwest. that brings warm moist air but the ground is still pretty cold. it's wet. and what happens, the temperature and the dewpoint will meet. this causes condensation and this is when the clouds will form very close to the ground. that's fog. it could be dense. saturday night into sunday morning and also it's going to be wet. so, traveling during that time could be pretty difficult especially if you're trying to fly into philadelphia or fly out. so, temperatures right now, this is about where we'll be as far as the lows. philadelphia 38 degrees. that's our high today. t

let's get the latest information from cecily tynan and accuweather. >> reporter: and jim, hard to believe we're talking about snow on the way when you consider we hit 60 degrees in philadelphia today. but the first step is bringing in the colder air. double scan live showing us this front that brought us the showers, the showers moving off shore right now that will supply us colder air with winds out of the northwest. future tracker showing by the time on the air at 11 o'clock we're already down to 39 degrees. the temperatures really crash after midnight. down into the 20's. tomorrow morning. the colder air is in place and the same front moving through tonight stalls to the soh, a wave of low pressure develops along it so that means we've got snow arriving right in time for dinnertime tomorrow niere will be some mixing along the coast and that rain-snow line will be moving northwest. the big question how far north and west. but the biggest concerns are areas like che montgomery, bucksouy, mercer county and all areas northwest. that's where we do have a winter storm watch in effecto vy ear

meteorologist cecily tynan has temperatures soaring to and even past 70. cecily, what is going on?> and jim its pretty amazing. today's president's day. it's going to feel like mother's day tomorrow. temperatures are in the 70's out to the west. we're still in the 40's. this warm front hasn't gotten here yet but it will be moving through overnight and behind that we have a surge of real springlike warmth. the problem overnight is this, though. visibilities will be dropping. right now the lowest visibilities areas farther to the north that got the deeper snow pack over the weekend. reading the visibility down to a third of a mile, lancaster less than a mile, pottstown a mile. as we head through the overnight hours dewpoints will be increasing. that means dense fog could really hamper your morning commute. but once that fog burns off, we get a few breaks of sunshine, that southerly wind really doing its job, future tracker showing by 2:30 tomorrow afternoon, we're very close to 70 degrees in philadelphia. as we head into wednesday, looks like record warmth. 73 degrees. i think we'll

meteorologist cecily tynan tracking a storm that could bring snow to parts of our area tomorrow. >> that'sight. it's all about location, rick. what's happening right now, it's not snow, it's rain. this is all associated with a cold front and this front will bring us a big drop in temperatures right in time for tomorrow. future tracker showing by 11 o'clock tonight, we're down to 39 degrees. now, we hit 60 degrees today, so big changes and by tomorrow morning, we drop down 28 degrees at 8 o'clock, so that cold air is in place and moisture is streaming up from the southwest. this moisture is actually moving along the same cold front that's moving through right now. so future tracker showing by dinnertime tomorrow night, we've got snow across most of our viewing area. however, some areas there will be a mixing or changeover to rain. so, it's really about location. winter storm watch has been posted for chester, montgomery, bucks, mercer county, all areas north and west. saturday at 7 o'clock until sunday morning. now these are the areas that the travel will be the trickest on saturday night.
