and tony dicecco, retired uni women's basketball coach, are volunteering their time as 2015 cedar valley united way campaign chairs. cedar valley united way is working to improve education, income and health in our community. currently united way provides funding grants to 65 programs at 38 local nonprofit partners. pam and tony toured united way's funded partners. they can share what they saw first- hand as they toured the agencies. pam is very passionate about the child protection center and will most likely provide that as an example of one of the programs they saw. cedar valley united way's campaign kicked off in september and will run through the end of january. already many individuals and companies have stepped up and donated. it's not too late to give. $4,000,000 has been identified as the need in the cedar valley. people can give online at www.cedarvalleyunited way.org or by calling 319-235-6211. if time allows, pam and tony can talk about some of the companies that have held united way campaigns. pam and tony have attended quite a few, meeting with employees and talking about united way.
