really exploding crossing from route 13 to cedarville. six lightning strikes and heavy rain. this extends east of philadelphia to trenton. if you drive the new jersey turnpike heavy rain and a line through speed well heading towards the coast and more rain pushes towards the coast in the evening hours, but these storms diminish once we get past sunset and the good thing about the rain it's cooled off the temperatures. take a look at the temperatures right now. philadelphia down to 71 degrees, our high today 89 and that means this week is not the sixth heat wave of the year. this is not a heat wave. wilmington 71 and dover 83 degrees and cape may 79 degrees. dew point shows you this is why we are looking at the heavy downpours today. dew points in the upper 60s to around 70 that is a tropical air mass and the air is saturated and any storms pull down a lot of rain in a short period of time. satellite 6 along with action radar showing the storms erupting at lunch time and more widespread in the afternoon and pushing into south jersey now and beginning to lose their intensity an
