we take you out to the live neighborhood network the other issue is that you can't see the center city skyline. so some fog issues, as well, low-lying cloud cover. so this is truly a day that has it all whether it comes to the weather department. even though it is all very, very modest precipitation winter weather advisories currently in effect across most of the board here. they last us until tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m. so, even though all of the precipitation we find out there will remain light throughout the day and into tonight, it is going to be with us, throughout the day and into tonight before completely tapers off. through the morning basically, what's going to happen here the general gist of this is that as temperatures slowly key word slowly decline, you'll start to see that precipitation morph to rain and freezing rain and sleet and eventually tonight to some snow. while not expecting a ton of accumulation from that snow, some every you could pick up coating to an inch north every philadelphia meanwhile temperatures stay marginal with freezing, for the rest of the day. that is wh

you out to the live network, a look from palmyra cove nature park typically you would finds center city skylineoor, low-lying clouds, lot of moisture, and you can see in the last three hour loop, how there is almost this effect of more moisture picking up with time, and almost helping to create even more rain that's been pushing over the area in the last couple of hours. far north obviously still snow and sleet. but i want you to watch out for that slush. if you had some snow, chances are, you have got slush or standing water out there and so for the morning drive while it is a very just classic variety pack, you are going to be slowed down for whatever reason. so, just give yourself the extra time, use the caution. you will hear us preach that home all day here today. 36 degrees meanwhile the current temperature at the airport, by comparison, look at dover, flirting with 50 already. by comparison, though, you got to knock 20 plus degrees off up in the poconos so it is definitely a changing and ever changing situation depending where your travels are taking you, and the further north you go, th

sky 6 taking a look at the center city skyline and you can see it's still bright out there.s now setting at 5:26. our daylight hours are definitely getting longer. today, though, we were stuck in the deep freeze. 31 degrees our current temperature. our high only hit 32. that's 10 degrees below average for this time of year. millville 31. trenton 29. allentown 25. and reading 27 degrees. the winds have definitely slacked off but still we have enough of a breeze to create a wind chill factor of 21 in philadelphia. feels like 20 in trenton and in reading and it feels like 16 degrees in allentown. the good news is, though, things will be changing as we head through the weekend. satellite6 along with action radar showing you can see the movement of the clouds out of the northwest. that's the movement of our air that brought us the chill today. however, this high pressure down to the south and once that high pressure shifts off shore, we will get a flow out of the southwest and that's a warmer flow of air so temperatures will really be warming up as we head through the weekend. ev

outside palmyra cove nature park in the distance usually see the center city skyline. tell there is precipitation falling from the sky. it is snow. certainly, cold enough for that but light wind at least snow is wind driven snow but really is reducing your visibility, at least further away across the delaware, and that said, still finding some pretty decent snow coming down here. we've done very well, essentially through the north and western suburbs outside of philadelphia, four, 5 inches in the spots totals continue to come in. there is back edge to this, that's the good news, so as the morning progresses this will all start winding down. we are still going to stand good chance to pick up six to 9 inches through this dark blue corridor here, the southeast most counties, in our area. but four to 6 inches, definately going to happen for philadelphia county, delaware county, at least lower bucks and eastern chester and montgomery counties. but the further northwest you go totals get reduced a you didn't have as much snow, b didn't snow long enough for to you pick up muc
