that's the center city skyline we're tranquil out there you'll need to bundle up this morning. we're down to # 2 in the city -- 32 in freezing mark in reading and lancaster. millville, 28 degrees. sea isle, 39. dover, 38. now, you factor in that little bit of a breeze and we're talking windchills in the 20. high temperatures should be close to 7 on degrees, we have one or two days where we get close to that, otherwise it's a cool seven-day forecast. the satellite and radar shows snow flying across western pennsylvania pittsburgh and portions of eastern ohio, as this system pushes east we'll see an increase with high clouds during the day. this system will approach from the west, it will increase the clouds and maybe trigger a light shower close to the mason dixon line after midnight tonight. that could linger into the first part of tomorrow, morning. that will work out to sea and we'll get sunshine as we head into sunshine. future tracker 6 nice and quiet today. lots of sunshine, and spottyny area here. -- in this area here. sunday promises to be nice and quiet, as well. the leh

. >> reporter: the last afternoon of april and sky 6 hd taking a look at the center city skyline showing nice conditions in philadelphia breezy and high thin clouds and 70s earlier this afternoon and temperatures dropping down into the 60s but there is one isolated cell across south jersey and one lightning strike associated with this and it started in millville and gradually migrated to the north and west and it is over salem county and moving into delaware over the next half hour the problem with this is that it's moving so slowly it has been dropping some heavy rain right around millville and northeastern cumberland county 1 to 2 inches of rain, a flood advisory what this mean fz are you driving, the roads are covered with water you do not want to drive through the flooded roads. a wider view on double scan live we have unsettled weather and upper level low through ohio and this joins up with the low pressure in the carolinas and that means we get the winds in the northeast and that makes a big difference in our temperatures. i'll have a look at that in the full accuweather forecast.

the bright streaks also lit up the center city skyline.not cause any widespread power outages or significant damage, just a few thunder boomers that rattled me a little bit here and there. >> and we still have a little bit of rain out there right now, david. >> we do. storm tracker six live double scan matt and tam shows us -- well i think it's going to show us that there is some shower activity out there across the region. and i apologize, that was my fault i accidentally took something out of play that you guys needed. anyway, there is the radar and you can see that there is drying across much of the region but in tighter to philadelphia we still have a couple of spots of precipitation that are producing a fairly decent downpour highlighted in yellow. the thing is these are very isolated and they don't last all that long. there's one moving into chester county that looks like it's going to be hindering people and downingtown and malvern over the next 10 minutes or so. another one up around jenkintown and willow grove that will be moving

the good news is the clouds you see over the center city skyline from our temple university sky six camerang to release much in the way of rainfall but with that wind out of the northwest and the lack of sunshine this afternoon, another very chilly day. in fact, the fifth day in a row where temperatures have been below that normal of around 68, 69 degrees. it's only 59 right now in philadelphia, 60 in millville even allentown much cooler coming in at 55 degrees right now. and those winds continue to drain out of the northwest speeds 17 at the boardwalk 16 miles an hour in philadelphia lancaster mimicking that number and dover also at 16 miles an hour. there's a big low pressure center that low pressure center is just to the east of bangor maine. you can see the rain showers even mixed snow showers in the higher terrain of northern new england and a batch of showers west of harrisburg and the western part of pennsylvania, so we're kind of split in between those two areas of rain but again those colder winds and clouds are moving in from the north. thankfully we don't have the severe weather
