heavier rain band firing up in central indiana. we have some snow showers. nice cold core system here. so up through great lakes region we are seeing that chill settle in here and tech nickly you could call this a polar vortex. coal first dropping in. polar air no. chillier air absolute thely. we will see that drop on the thermometer in the wake of it. really for the next six to ten days or so, eastern half of the you had, end up below average. we are going to generally fall just below average as opposed to much below. where it looks like the core of the chill will settle in here it is primarily from central pennsylvania on westward and points south of that. regardless you will notice difference when you go out the door beyond tomorrow. and today, the chill that settles up for us here is going to come courtesy of the cold front that is crossing through with some gusty thunderstorms. when we say gusty storms we're not talking wind gust that is peak as high as 40 or 50 miles an hour. generally gusts up to 35 the rest of the day but small sized hail out of it.
