so i might not have been a ces even if i wasn't retired this year. i think there's a big misunderstandings on the part of the public about what the consumer electronic show is. i think a lot of people imagine that the tech companies spend all year working on new products that they will unveil at ces. and that's not -- excuse me -- that's not the case at all. there's lots of products unveiled there. they're basically very minor. many of them never see the light of day or they're derivative of something big that has been announced elsewhere during the year. none -- with the exception of hdtv, because ces has always been a tv show. with the exception of hdtv, i can't think of a common technology that you use or the viewers here who are watching this use every day that was unveiled or announced at ces. they were all announced at other events or at other times of the year. and i'm talking about -- i don't care if you have an android or iphone neither was announced at ces. i don't care if you have a p.k.k. or mac neither was announced at ces. i don't care
