all lanes of southbound 101 are completely closed between the 80 split and cesar chavez.anker truck is still out there on its side and fire crews are out there, as well. this will impact the morning commute. a short time ago it was a big mess. so again all lanes belonged from westbound 80 and from the southbound central freeway. this is a major artery for the morning commute. we were told that at least three other cars were also involved. at this point, injuries, we're still not sure. we haven't heard of any major injuries yet. use the southbound 280 extension because all lanes are blocked on one within. a lot of flashing lights out there still, emergency crews so it is slowing down traffic on the northbound side of 101, as well. if you are considering using the bay bridge, obviously traffic is still really light on the oakland side of the span. but the san mateo bridge is probably going to be a good alternate because crews are likely going to be out there for a while continuing their investigation. san mateo bridge, this is a live look at what it looks like right now. th
