south 101 is going to be slow from beyond cesar chavez approaching the accident scene. so with those delays, you're going to want to avoid south 101, take southbound 280 instead to get out of the city towards the peninsula. we'll let you know once more lanes reopen but for now, just that one lane squeezing through there south of 101 beyond silver avenue. the bay bridge commute leaving oakland into the city, it's sunny at the pay gates, traffic backed up from the foot of the maze approaching the toll plaza. the san mateo bridge is trouble- free and that light traffic continues with westbound 92 is moving well approaching the toll plaza. golden gate commute south 101 is fine getting into the city. we haven't had any major accidents for all of marin county so that's been a smooth drive, as well. problems continue for the altamont pass. we have been looking at long delays and westbound 580 clocking in with a 40-minute drive time from the altamont pass. the altamont pass has been backed up from the 205 interchange. mass transit still good shape. no delays for bart, ace, muni
