here with the latest on all of it, meteorologist chad myers. chad, the dangerous weather that moved across the country this week isn't over yet. who's getting hit the hardest right now? >> well, down east maine into new brunswick into canada. but the biggest concern i have right now for the mass amount of people is boston. 36 all day, raining. now it's down to 32. and beginning to snow. so by morning, what was wet will be white or will be an ice puddle. so you have to be careful here, now that we're going to go down below freezing in boston for the first time, all the way out to the cape as well. that's where the massive amount of people, the most people will be affected by tomorrow's weather when you wake up. everything that was just wet is not going to be wet anymore. we will see an awful lot of snow here in parts of maine, all the way over toward halifax. another foot of snow. that is where it is now. the storm has moved away from the northeast. still going to make cold wind for new york city, cold for albany, into boston, even into new hamp

chad transportation planner with the authority. over the past few months, we've wrote a number of items to the committee. we presented the draft for the recommendations for the first five years of the prop a program. for short background, 30 year expenditure plan established categories you see on the screen here. along with percentage of revenues to be allocated to each the three categories over the life of the expenditure plan. what goes into the strategy plan? for a little bit of context, the prop double a strategic plan will be shorter and complex. mainly because of the smaller dollar amount. the simpler expenditure plan and the fact that prop double a does not utilize financing. also the fire year prioritization program, each the program categories are part of the strategic plan as opposed to prop k where they are stand alone documents. in july the board approved policies as in attachments three and four. for revenues prop double a revenues are projected just over $4.8 million per year. that's flat rate or $144 million over 30

senate, we really don't know if this has any chance as passing in the house of representatives and, chad, over to you. how will the evening play out? >> well, i want do be very clear there is no plan at this point for a vote in the senate. they want to bring all their members together at some point and talk about this but they have to get over the issue of the sequester. republicans want to have some sort of spending cut. mcconnell, the minority leader in the senate thought he had an arrangement and he had a deal on how to deal with the sequester the he thought when he went to bed last night there would be an agreement to have two proposals: one democratic, one republican to deal with the sequester. until that is resolved they cannot forge ahead. he said let's not blow this up if we cannot get beyond the sequester, at least do the tax part. if you do not have the tax cuts, rather, the spending cuts in the house of representatives, i talked to a republican congress hand with ties to the leadership early today, and he told me that our guys will go ballistic if we do not get spending cuts.
