i want to get right to cnn's chad myers, who is in the cnn weather center in chad. this became the strongest storm of the year anywhere on the globe. it just took a matter of hours what can you tell us about how strong it is right now and where it's headed in florida extremely warm water. here's the yucatan peninsula, here's the bay of campeche. this is the gulf of mexico. hundred and 80 mile per hour winds around the center of the core. now, what i can find right now because we have a hurricane hunter aircraft in it at this point, it's not getting any stronger than i maybe that's maybe tongue in cheek, but it is not it has been getting stronger, had been getting stronger all day long, hour by hour. it got bigger and bigger and bigger. now at least it's flattened out. and hopefully by morning it'll flatten out some more. but from 50 to 180 miles per hour in 36 hours tropical storm warnings, hurricane warnings are already posted and you'll notice that hurricane warnings are almost all the way to the east coast of florida because hurricane conditions will be there. we

chad address that question.e does not affect the other. is that true? >> well, they are two different pots of money you've got the disaster relief fund that is, obviously, goes towards helping folks in new north carolina, georgia, tennessee recover from the storm but you have another grant program called sheltering service program that the biden administration asked congress for now two or three years for more and more money over a billion dollars thus far, and that's to make sure that they funnel that money through mgo to illegal aliens. so for the last several years, fema and my opinion has taken their eye off the core mission and allocated more and more funding to illegal aliens overtime and i think that they have taken resources away from their primary mission to do so. so that's what concerns me most. the other thing that concerns me is the fact that the secretary would even say such a thing. to say that fema doesn't have any money at the same time is he's trying to reassure victims that the federal governm
