let's get to chad myers in the severe weather center. are there any current tornado warnings in the area? just one. gulfport, mississippi right along the gulf of mexico where the air is the most humid. we have watches which means they can happen anywhere from almost tennessee right on down to south florida and into the florida panhandle here. a couple storms already rotating on radar. no significant weather right now for tornadoes on the ground that i know of. but the potential is there all night long from central and northern mississippi, alabama, right on down even into, there you go, the florida panhandle. earlier today, pickens county into mississippi right through about macon, mississippi and into macedonia into alabama this is what rolled through here. this was a very large wedge-shaped tornado. one person was killed that we know of. power lines are down. trees are down everywhere from this big tornado. i would suspect, jake, this was probably an ef-3 tornado. at least 150 miles per hour. they are rare in the south but they are hap
