chad perdelli channel 6 "action news." rick? >> streets are beginning to open up after the pope's visit put the city on lockdown over the weekend. karen rogers joins us with an update on the traffic situation. hi, karen. >> reporter: hi, risk it was a history-making weekend with pope francis in town. today we're making history, too, we haven't had a traffic jam in the city since last thursday. people have stayed off the roads. we have crews cleaning up. the you can see the police cars and the infrastructure that chad was talking about. we're watching for restrictions on broad and spring garden. this is the vine street expressway. they opened earlier than expected, but we saw the ramps shut down, now the traffic is moving on the side streets and the ramps. they have gone through and reopened most of the roads in the area. the main issue is the benjamin franklin parkway. even that, some of the outer lanes in parts of the parkway they are allowing traffic get through, it's a process, so we've seen it move quickly. the ben franklin
