lets turn to chad pradelli now who arrived in texas yesterday and he joins us live from the town of crosby. good afternoon. >> reporter: we just got out of houston and here in cross by just out of the eastern section of houston on interstate 10, one of the hardest hit areas, i-10 you can see still very much under water in this low lying area. if you can look at the height of the storm this is where the water line is, you see the debris line here, you see recession there. and this is what is causing the flooding, that is the river, and it's swollen beyond capacity. we tried to drive around it, and it took an hour to get around it we had to go around the bay and still causing quite a bit of flooding. this roadway is shut down, this is a major artery in the houston area. and while we are seeing many of these rivers, these streams they are have crested and many have not and there is still search and rescue in certain neighborhoods. we are going into the neighborhoods later today and listening to fema officials early this morning still a lot of work to be done. still for the search and rescue e
