good afternoon chair haney, committee members, supervisor safai, mar, ronen and walton. office of small business has been operating as the front line for small businesses. will continue to do so. we will be tracking businesses requests and needs and as commercial eviction moratorium comes to a close at the end of of this month for particularly for the tier 1 businesses, we will be fielding those calls and communicating them with the office of small business on how best to service those needs. we assisted over 7500 businesses. we have 10 tags that we iced to track the business needs and request specific to covid-19. real estate assistance guidance is one of the tags that we use. during this time frame, we had 408 businesses specifically request assistance in this area. the tag covers assistance in negotiating rent reduction with an existing lease, information and questions around the commercial eviction moratorium and each of these responses of each individual business we coordinated with oewd and the commercial eviction. in addition, we did have landlords and lawyers con
