chair. >> thank you. supervisor press peskin, the floor is yours. >> thank you, chair melgar. it's great when you see in the department of environment -- urban forestry council statement that they discussed a tree and it seems straightforward for landmarking and that they emphasized the tree had no controversy so colleagues, the item before us is to propose, to landmark a central old coast redwood tree in the lower height neighborhood at 5 and 313 scotts street nominated the tree for landmark status. the urban forestry council as mentioned, mentioned the tree's rarity and attributes and cultural value at their meeting of february 22, 2022, and found the tree met the criteria for landmark status and this is a living piece of san francisco history according to the property owners, consultant informed them the tree is likely planted from ceilings distributed during the pam what pacific international! position at 1950 more than a century ago. to preserve this tree, i ask the committee move this item forward with positive recommendation, thank you. >> thank you, supervisor preston.
