i was actually impressed that the chamber of commerce, the san francisco chamber of commerce this last week, offered an additional candidate they have not shown in the past, about their position in rank choice of voting. in the past, they have not taken a stand. but they put out their report card, what they call their paychecks and pink slips scorecard, because i guess the chamber of commerce pays the board of supervisors and decides who to hire and who to fire. they acknowledged the biggest issue in san francisco is jobs and the economy. one of the top 10 factors, apparently, is ranked choice voting. i had not realized ranked joyce voting was a jobs killer in san francisco, but apparently, that is what the chamber of commerce thinks. i had not realized that having more elections was a way to have more efficient government. but that is what they are backing. you can take them at face value. you can believe that they are really interested in the magic number of 50%. because electing somebody with 50% of 16% turnout is a much better way of electing officials in san francisco than using r

of commerce in china. we have more. the chairman of the tschida chamber of commerce -- china chamber of commerce. and from the china contractors association. and the president of the foreign trade and economic relations commission. and the deputy director general, department of commerce of the inner mongolia, autonomous region. the director of economic and trade office of [unintelligible] province. i would like to mention that locally, we have a city council member from fremont, ms. sue chan and supervisor malia cohen is in the house. thank you for coming. i remember not long ago when vice-president -- the vice- president visited the united states and i traveled to los angeles with our mayor at the time and what an event. and now a few months later, san francisco is probably hosting the seminar with the ministry of commerce. it shows that our golden mountain continues to attract chinese. has never stopped since the 1800's and because san francisco continues to be the city of innovation and full of peril spirit, we will continue to seek an inflow of inbound chinese businessmen and investors. may i

we also have the co-president of the north beach chamber of commerce. he is a business corridor member of the mayor's center for economic development. allyson is a senior registrar for the entire city art collection and public art program with the san francisco arts commission. tom is a property manager with the department. we also had another member as the capital planner. he is also the planner who is going to be managing the $1.5 million deferred maintenance program at the tower as part of the high-level needs identified issued in the recent report. the selection panel recommendation was for terry grimm to operate concessions. as you can see, he well outscored the other panelists, receiving 88% of possible points. i wanted to give you a little bit of background on terry n.y. the selection panel thought he was most qualified for the opportunity for it since 1977, him and his wife has operated the oyster bar, a friendly neighborhood restaurant with a loyal following. they received a number of accolades and recognition from distinguish publications such
